Nerida Lister

Dancing with the Stars favourite Nerida Lister married soap opera heart throb Shane Cortese, famous for his roles on Shortland Street and hit show Outrageous Fortune, in 2006.

Nerida gave birth to their first little boy, Kees in 2007. The couple decided to bank Kees’ cord blood stem cells and at the time commented, “We just want our baby to be happy and healthy. For us, banking the cord blood is the most precious gift you can give your child.”

Shane and Nerida welcomed a second son, Jett, in July 2011.
